Turning to photography as a creative outlet during a valiant fight with breast cancer at age 34, renaissance10 survived and set up a photo contest to help raise funds for the Lavender Trust, a nonprofit that provides information and support to younger women with breast cancer. In the first two years, the competition brought in over £65,000 (that's $107,260.73 U.S.!), with entries from 130 countries last year. Renaissance10 recently joined LiveJournal to meet other passionate photographers and find supportive friends.

Дорогие и уважаемые,
клуб GOROD и Русская школа при клубе проводят 10 января в 11 часов Ёлку для детей. В начале праздника мы хотим показать детям небольшой спектакль-сказку, героями которой являются оркестровые инструменты - гобой, виолончель, скрипка, флейта. Есть такая мечта - показать вживую детям перед спектаклем маленький оркестр, включающий эти инструменты. От музыкантов многого не хотим - время у нас очень ограничено, детей будет много довольно маленьких. Речь идет о буквально пятиминутном выступлении... Но радости с такой поддержкой мы сможем доставить детям неизмеримо больше, ведь это позволит им совсем иначе смотреть на происходящее на сцене.

За помощь готовы заплатить, условия готовы обсуждать. Рады будем откликам всех музыкантов! Заранее спасибо!
